“I feel it important that the viewer comes to each of these works enjoying their own thinking and emotional response to it. This will vary through changes of time and mood as it would with listening to a any replayed piece of music.

My focus is on using contemporary digital media to explore image-making that reflects that vast unknown gamut of the quantum and cosmic realities of which we ourselves form part. I find it intriguing that humankind is always at some point on that long journey of exploration and discovery about the unknown inner and outer ‘universe’ about which we can only hypothesise. Counter to this evolution are the self-inflicted forces of our technology that many feel are destroying us.

Our power must make us seem almost God like in this Anthropocene age.

Paradoxically in terms of scale we still, with our most advanced research in science and technology, sense that we are infinitesimally small and anthropocentric in relation to those imaginatively challenging mysteries.”
